Chapter 1: Perspective

Warning: I like to talk a lot about perspective and will continue to do so.

As I previously mentioned, in my last post, my writing teacher Mrs. Murphy and I would commonly spend our lunchtimes together chatting about the things in our day-to-day lives. One day, during lunch, Mrs. Murphy brought up the topic of an exercise she commonly did before bed. She suggested I try it in the hopes that it would improve upon my own perspective.

The exercise is simple in theory. After you have finished your nightly routine and are tucked away in bed, you mentally go through your day and highlight anything that stands out. The object of the exercise is to choose 3 times, or moments, in your day when you felt happy or content with the world around you.

Hence the title of this Blog: 3 Times A Day.
